Daniel Aduku debuts in the United States against Chordale Booker

Ghanaian born super welterweight boxer, Daniel Aduku will square off with America’s Chordale Booker in his first ever bout in the United States for the WBC US silver super welterweight title on Saturday night, April 22 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
Aduku, 33, currently ranked no. 4 super welterweight in Ghana will be coming into the bout with a record of 15 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw with 11 wins coming by way of knockout. Aduku has gone through the mill since his debut as a professional boxer in 2013 and has faced some of the best fighters in his home country.
His opponent, Booker, 31 will be returning to the Mohegan Sun Arena to fight for the second time this year. He is coming in with a record of 18 wins and 1 loss with 7 wins coming by way of knockout. Even though, Booker is yet to fight at the elite level, he has faced and defeated some of the best prospects of the division including Colombia’s Juan De Angel and America’s Ve Shawn Owens.
Despite his talent, skill and passion for the sport, Aduku will be facing the toughest test of his professional career. For one, Aduku who boxes in the orthodox stance will be fighting a southpaw. As if that is not challenging enough, he will also be fighting in an “unknown” territory far from his home. Yet, Daniel Aduku is determined, certain and ready to put his skills to the test.
